My only suggestion would be to include the additional fees (taxes, service fee, ribbon cost) on the initial ordering page instead of keeping these costs secret until placing the order...the more than $50 additional cost was an unpleasant surprise.

The day before the funeral, I was contacted about a flower substitution that would be necessary. This was efficiently accomplished and the substitution was very pretty. Although I did not get the order that I requested, I did get something similar. I wanted RED flowers like in this picture, but there were none...only white. And the beautiful clipped palm frons in this picture were also replaced with just long stems of green. For the cost, I would have thought they would have gotten it right. But what they did send was nice, just not what I asked for. RED was the deceased's favorite color, and she was a water person, who loved Hawaii...thus the clipped palms and red flowers would have been nice.

I asked for a ribbon to go with the flowers, and I thought the ribbon was going to lay diagonal across the flowers. When I saw the arrangement in person, the ribbon was hanging down the base/bottom of the arrangement. Not quite what I wanted. I called the florist that I usually use in my hometown and found out they were closed. So I had no other alternative but to use this service to place my order. I sat in a parking lot in my car (using my phone), picked out the flowers I wanted, and placed the order to arrive before the visitation the next evening. The arrangement was really nice. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it wasn't exactly like the bouquet pictured. I had ordered for the funeral of an avid Nebraska football fan (GO BIG RED) so I was a little disappointed to find the bouquet was more white than red. It was still an impressive bouquet and the family of the deceased loved it. I would use the Sympathy Store again. Delivery was on time and ease of using the website was great.

I am placing this product review to help others that are making selections on this site. "Buyers beware" and read the fine print, unfortunately I didn't. This company will allow an equivalent arrangement substitution if they do not have what you order. They don't cancel your order or refund your money so that you can reach out to other florist, they give you what they have available at the same price. If this is acceptable to you then by all means utilize The Sympathy Store. If you want to feel that you are being take care of during your time of bereavement then I would suggest that you shop wisely.
