I needed to order some flowers or planter for a funeral and being that I am in Idaho and the service was in St. George I did not know any flower shops in the area. This one was listed through the Funeral home and while I have never used one because of the prices I decided to check them out anyway. Boy was I surprised! The prices were great and the flowers and planters were beautiful. I ordered the planter I wanted and the price was great. The only thing that was a little bit to high was the delivery fee but getting what I was looking for I guess I could live with it. I am not even sure where this company is located so maybe the 18.00 delivery fee was not so bad if there was quite a distance they had to travel. I would buy from them again.

They were able to send the order request to the local florist who delivered the basket to the correct place at the right time. I am very pleased. The arrangement was a little smaller than expected, but still very well done. Mine included a ribbon and bow.

Ordering the plant basket through the funeral home site was easy. However, I received no confirmation that the basket had been delivered prior to the time of the service, which was on a Saturday afternoon. When I called shortly after the service was over, the Sympathy Store rep could not tell me definitely that it had been delivered. I finally received a confirmation the next day. By contrast, I had ordered a flower arrangement for another funeral on the same day, through a different florist and in a different state. I did receive a confirmation from that florist on the same day it was delivered. I understand that the Sympathy Store deliveries are made during the day and the confirmations are completed at the end of the day, but it seems there would be a better way to confirm deliveries on a Saturday rather than leaving them until the next day. On February 07 at 10:21 AM I ordered a Simply
Elegant Spathiphyllum At 11:46am I received an
email from the Sympathy Store saying it was not
available and would be substituted with the
Emerald Garden Basket. I replied asking for a
picture of what would be replacing my order and a
lady called (hardly understandable) saying it
would show by my order on the obituary page and
within a few minutes it did. I was able to attend
the visitation or service, so this was
representing me. Today, 2-9-20, I had a picture
sent to me of what was sent. I seemed smaller
than the basket picture they posted, and was not
in a basket at all, but a white ceramic planter.
I was very upset at their choices. Also, I
noticed that the Simply Elegant Spathiphyllum was
posted on another person the same afternoon,
February 07 at 03:28 PM, and yet another person
today about noon. Needless to say, this is
sub-par. I will never use this service again.
Note: After couple of emails, a $19.95 refund was made.

My aunt that passed was in Pa. and my cousins all live there and I took care of my gift right from my house In NC. an being the hurricane was coming near my town I couldn't make services so once again Groffs made so easy and Highly recommend them.

Very disappointed with the presentation. First is was supposed to be a garden basket, no flowers. About six flowers were put in the basket. Description stated it was a 17" by 17" basket. It was more like a 17" high and 7" around. Not at all like picture. I feel the Florist thought we would not be there to see the plant. Would never recommend your company store again.

The Emerald Garden Basket was very nice according to the family that received it at the funeral home. I personally did not see it, but my friend , who it was for, said the flowers had arrived and they were beautiful. Using the Sympathy Store was so convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would use them again if I need to send flowers to a funeral. The funeral was out of state so I am glad I could order on line and know that the flowers would be beautiful and delivered on time.

I need to say that the arrangement I purchased looked nothing like what I thought I had purchased. It barely contained any green plants, it was in a small white basked and looked very sparse. For $70 I could have done a better job. Whoever created the arrangement needs to know that people rely on the photos supplied to decide on their purchase. I am glad I got to see the arrangement personally. I was a bit embarrassed by what had our company's name on it. I most likely will not use this service in the future.

Easy to Order. The planter looks like the picture. But it was about 1/2 the size I was expecting. This was about the size of my hands cupped. You get more bang for your bucks with the cut flowers. They were beautiful,smelled good, and were large. I will probably go with an arrangement next time but I love the thought of bringing home a small memory .

The closest arrangement to the one I ordered was in a completely different basket which looked more like an Easter basket (cheap)

Viewing the basket online it looks full and pretty. When I arrived at the funeral of a close friend I saw that although it was pretty it was not full and as I expected. The family liked the basket but I was a bit disappointed. For the amount I had to pay it seemed to just lack the full overflow of plants. I gave it 4 stars because even though it seemed skimpy it was pretty and the family liked it.

While the content of the basket was lovely, I was a bit disappointed with the delivery - I had requested it be delivered on Sat and when I arrived on Sun afternoon it was still not there. I was appalled when my basket arrived as I was speaking with one of the family members. Even after contacting your service earlier on sunday and being assured it would be there by three o'clock - it arrived at about 3:30 - over 24 hours after I had requested it. The basket was very nice though.
